Privacy notice

For email/password accounts, Finch stores a salted password hash, never your plain password. Verification and password reset emails are delivered through our email provider. Expiring links verify ownership of your email address. We limit sign-in attempts to help protect accounts. Google and email/password accounts are kept separate unless ownership is explicitly verified in a future linking process.

If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier, name and verified email address. We use these to manage your customer account and link requests made while signed in. Finch does not receive your Google password. A secure session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days; signing out revokes that session. Customer sign-in does not grant staff access.

When you place an order request, book a service, accept a quotation, request an estimate or contact us, we collect the name, telephone number, general location, project details and selected items you provide. We also store your delivery or collection preference, requested appointment, quotation acceptance and payment confirmation details where applicable. We use these details to respond, prepare a quotation and arrange requested work.

Order requests, bookings, quotations and enquiries are stored in our website database and are available to authorised Finch administrators. We also use a hashed network address temporarily for submission-abuse checks. Website hosting providers process information needed to operate this service.

WhatsApp and email links open external services with their own privacy practices. Downloaded estimates contain your selected items and reference number; keep them private if they reveal sensitive project information.

To request correction or deletion of your enquiry, contact [email protected]. Avoid sending passwords, camera login details or sensitive security plans through this form.
